Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré
June 16th 2007:
Col du Mollard
| Les Albiez: ideal terrain
for hiking and family walks!!! |
The plateau is staggered in height,
from 754m at Gevoudaz rising to 3,364m at the peak of
the oreille septentrionale de la tête de chat
with a large section between 1,300 and 2,000m in altitude.
It also offers countless advanced hiking possibilities
such as the passage du Col de l'épaisseur at
3,230m (on the way to Valloire) and a multitude of walks
suitable for the whole family.

Many signposted walks on our Arvan-Villards massif also
offer walking excursions with varied terrain and landscapes.
There are currently almost 400km of these: plenty to
occupy you on your holidays.
All these footpaths are also accessible
for mountain bikes.
Mountain bikes are available for hire at the Albiez-Montrond
resort.
The terrain is not only great for walking, it is also
a cyclists' paradise. Remember :
You are in the heart of the great Peaks !!!
